Rouen - School, Downtown, Christmas Carnival

W& I picked Rouen instead of Paris for our students exchange.

Rouen Business School
Fits right into Meyer’s Twilight series. Castle? Check. Shortcut through the woods? Check. Moody weather? Check. Cute moody boys? Check.

Where I spent 4 months of university life doing stupid shit. Like posing with leaves.

Posing with benches #actpensive

Chic French girls.

One flew over cuckoo's nest

Downtown
You can pretty much comb it within 3 hours.
(not much shopping, much to W's relief)

Strange design.

The awesome Michelin star restaurant which we only found out about on our last day #livingunderarock

Halloween Decorations

Kinda regret the Gothic fonts to match Gothic Church but too lazy to change.

Christmas Carnival

The structure behind me is pretty cool. Its like a obstacles course with booby traps, vibrating floors etc. Meant for kids.

Zorb for kids to walk on water with.

Carousel for kids. For adults, there were gambling machines and foodstands

My favorite! Bumper cars! The 2 punk kids in the lower right photo (look at the gleeful faces) kept targeting me and it was frankly quite annoying cos the shock absorber wasn't very good and i kept getting jerked out of my seat upon collision.W was not helping either (thats him banging into me at the lower left). If you can't beat them, join them!

Fantastic Mr Fox

Pain is pain for me (I hate bread)

Fried chicken just because i miss KFC. Oh, and there is no chilli sauce in France :(

Santa bear helpers

My brother and his gf swung by Rouen to visit and we went to check out this downtown restaurant.

Le Chabada - 6 Rue Armand Carrel  76000 Rouen
Affordable french fine dinning. Take the T1 bus to Place St.Marc. Walk down the street towards the river from there and you'll spot the restaurant. 17.5 euros for lunch course. I got the duck confit and Crème brûlée. Both were good.

Ending off with my favorite Rouen photo capturing my favorite things - Snow, Lights, Christmas, outdoor ice-skating rink, hallmarkish cheesy snowman and of course, W.
